My name is Martine Betty Conzemius, *1973.
Doing drama suddenly became urgent and a necessity, namely in my second but last year at the Lycée Classique of Diekirch, Luxembourg. I found an exciting scope! The more I touched drama the more I realized that human beings do inspire me and thereby I become creative in a rather big amount!
My way through the drama scope started and went on with courses and workshops of physical expression, dance, mime, puppet theatre, of lighting design, directing courses, of street performance, in singing and in double bass playing. Offering drama courses, leading youngsters through drama, in or after school, devising drama pieces with those became a logical way after I finished my degree ‘Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Theatre Studie’ in devising.
The circle closes up to a whole with further trainings in neutral mask and commedia dell’arte (Fabio Mangolini), in theatre clowning (Francis Albero, Marie-Claude Théodas, Valérie Armbruster) , in acting and in German speech training (Seja Katharina Rockel, Nora Koenig and Nickel Bösenberg), in dance (Lucile Guin) and in singing (Annick Hermann): I now do understand with my body and my mind where everything comes from. These many different sources which opened up over the years are running now together into one. Devising and performing is my job which I have followed as full-time job since Decembre 2017.
